Keep the amp settings, change what the speaker gets.
You found the settings that make your valve amp sound like you. Then the room says it is too loud. The PS1 connects between the amplifier's speaker output and your cabinet, and you decide how much power reaches the speaker.
One knob sets how loud the cabinet gets
The SOAK control sets the attenuation applied to the speaker output. For minimal volume, turn SOAK and LINE to 0. Even at 100, the speaker receives about half of the amplifier's output power. The PS1 takes up to 100 W, and long periods at maximum input power may trip its thermal protection.

Matched to your amp and cabinet
Three ¼" TS AMP INPUT jacks cover 4, 8 and 16 Ohms. Choose the one that matches both your amplifier's setting and the cabinet's rating. Use speaker cables for these connections, never instrument or microphone cables.

Into the desk without a microphone
The EMULATED MIC output is a balanced XLR that mimics a microphone in front of a speaker cabinet. Send it to a PA or recording console to record or perform with a direct signal instead of a microphone. The unbalanced LINE output skips the speaker and mic simulation, ready for an external power amplifier or effects processor.
